Happy New Year from AskPatty!

New_year_2015-thinkstsock-515071207-s

Father Time has booted out 2014 and we celebrate the arrival of Baby New Year. Raise a glass of bubbly to 2015 and make some resolutions: Eat healthier? Go to the gym? Spend less, save more? Speed less and drive more carefully?  Whatever you do, do it with gusto!

And one more thought: "Should auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind?" We don't know! According to Grammarly.com, “Auld Lang Syne” was originally written as a Scottish poem and was later set to music. The phrase “auld lang syne” translates in English as “old long since” or something akin to “times gone by.”

"Should old acquaintance be forgot, and old lang syne?" I still don't get it.

Regardless, we at AskPatty wish you all a happy new year filled with health and happiness -- and no speeding tickets!
