The PWN-WiR is hosting the following Driving Clinic on 10/1/08.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN SKILLS TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND VEHICLE DYNAMICS?
The Professional Women's Network Affiliate-Women in Racing (PWN-WiR) will be hosting the following Driving Clinic:
Who: PWN Members & Ford Employees
What: Driving Skills Clinic
Where: Michigan Proving Grounds (MPG--34 Mile & Fischer Road in Romeo)
When: WEDNESDAY October 1, 2008 11:45a – 4:30pm
(If severe weather conditions then will hold on 10/2/08)
Why: To enhance your knowledge about vehicle dynamics;
handling; & safety of our fine Ford cars
Instructors: Audrey Zavodsky & other highly qualified individuals
Open to Ford Motor Company employees ONLY. Registration is limited to 60 people. The cost would be $20 which is non-refundable & includes a boxed lunch. (If paying by check make it out to Continental Services). Payment preferred in advance but can be paid on site. If interested, please register by COB on 9/19/08 via an e-mail to azavodsk.
Schedule:
11:45a-12N Registration
12-12:30p Lunch
12:30-1p Classroom (Promptly starting at 12:30p)
1-4p Rotate through vehicle dynamics stations
(Slalom; Lane Change; Understeer; Oversteer; & Autocross)
4-4:30p De-Brief

Park in the Michigan Proving Grounds Parking Lot. There will be a shuttle van that will drive you to the event site on the MPG grounds.
