MEADOWLANDS - Maybe LeRae Ralidak will now begin to relax.
Or not.
Ralidak, 18, in a make-up race Saturday night, became the first woman in Hibbing Raceway history to win a feature race on the three-eighths mile clay banked oval.
It was also the first feature win of her four-year Pure Stock racing career.
"I got nervous before every race up until this year," said Ralidak, a 2006 Floodwood High School graduate who is now a freshman at Hibbing Community College. "I'd get jitters in my stomach. I don't get too nervous anymore, but sometimes I'll look up in the stands and see all those people and get nervous again."

It is an open question whether any behavior based on fear of eternal punishment can be regarded as ethical or should be regarded as merely cowardly. What do you think?
