Teen filmmakers across the country are using their position behind the camera to encourage safer behavior behind the wheel. Today, Toyota and Discovery Education announced the ten finalists of the Toyota TeenDrive365 Video Challenge. Now in its fifth year, the Challenge invites teens to create short videos to inspire their peers to drive more safely and avoid risky behavior. This year, more than 1,500 students entered the competition – the highest number of submissions ever received.
Toyota and Discovery Education invite the public to watch the ten finalist videos at TeenDrive365InSchool.com/vote and vote through April 25 for the People’s Choice winner, who will receive a $5,000 prize and a behind-the-scenes trip to a taping of a Velocity network show.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is joining with Waze to promote the home release of global blockbuster Furious 7. “Get your Furious 7 Fix Fast” is a first-of-its-kind promotion that will allow Waze users in seven cities to find Prizing Pit Stops giving away free Furious 7 merchandise. Universal has released Furious 7 on Digital HD this week and will release it on and on Blu-ray™, DVD, and On Demand on September 15.
From this week through September 17, Waze, the real-time crowd-sourced navigation app, will display scheduled messages announcing the release of Furious 7 in seven participating markets. Want some F&F7 swag? On one day in each market, Waze users can find directions to pop-up venues where street teams will be distributing free Furious 7-branded T-shirts, hats, license-plate frames, and a limited number of digital codes to download the film on Digital HD (among other items). Each Prizing Pit Stop will operate while supplies last for up to 90 minutes and then move on to two other spots throughout the day.
Actor George Clooney joined a next-gen Chevrolet Volt at the recent world premiere of the Disney movie “Tomorrowland.” The film, which also stars actress Britt Robertson, opens in United States' movie theatres on May 22, 2015.
The all-new 2016 Chevrolet Volt and EN-V concept make their big-screen debuts in the film, visible in the backdrops of scenes from the present day and Tomorrowland. Clooney stars as Frank, and Robertson plays Casey, and the pair must travel to a place somewhere in time and space only known as Tomorrowland, where their actions directly affect the world and themselves.
The screenplay, written by Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, is said to have been heavily influenced by Walt Disney's optimistic philosophy of innovation and utopia, such as his conceptual vision for the planned community known as EPCOT. In real life, Chevy and Disney already have a history at EPCOT; it's where Chevy sponsored the Test Track ride in Walt Disney World in Florida.

This haute party was held at the Bootsy Bellows Estate, also sponsored by McDonalds again, the first weekend of the 2015 Coachella Valley Music Festival in Indio. This year’s festival features AC/DC, Drake, Jack White and more than 160 other acts.
This star studded party featuring Chevrolet's Corvette and Camaro performance vehicles, included selfie photo op booths and selfie sticks and was entirely too fun! The music, food and pool antics created quite a celebrity buzz with stars in attendance like Paris Hilton, Chris Brown,Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner, the 19-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star.
What did I think of the Chevrolet performance vehicles at the #LoveDriveVibe party? Gorgeous and playful in this very hip rockin' setting. There was a booth with a Camaro in a racing "winner's circle", champagne and all, to shake and spray all over! Kudos to Chevrolet for showing how youthful, cool and fun the Chevrolet brand can be!
This #Carchella party fare included libations from McDonald’s and Absolute Vodka and ended on a very high note with Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas making a special stage appearance with rapper 2 ChainZ.

Celebrities sampled the new Bacon Clubhouse Burger, rode shotgun for the Stingray Experience, and beat the heat pool-side in VIP cabanas.
Many famous faces who attended the party included one of my favorite Glee stars Dianna Agron who was spotted out with her new man Thomas Cocquere and Leonardo DiCaprio who smoked electronic cigarettes and chowed down on a Bacon Clubhouse Burger and fries in his private cabana.
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" premiered in Los Angeles on March 13, 2014. It was released internationally on March 26, 2014, and in North America on April 4, 2014. According to ABC news, its record-breaking $92 million weekend debut has earned the film entry to a very exclusive club: movie sequels that outdid their originals.
Not only did "Winter Soldier" outperform "Captain America: The First Avenger," which earned $65 million domestically in its first three days out, but the sequel scored the biggest April opening of all time, according to the L.A. Times, earning a worldwide total to date of $303.3 million.
