The all-new Cadillac ELR electric luxury coupe shared the “Green” carpet with dozens of eco-aware celebrities who attended the annual Global Green USA Pre Oscar® Party this week, and we’ve got a slideshow of dozens of those celebrities posing with Cadillac’s luxurious -- and eco-friendly -- sport coupe.
Global Green USA is an organization dedicated to fighting climate change, and each year their event is considered to be THE green event of Oscar Week! This year, General Motors continued its “Green Carpet” tradition by showcasing the Cadillac ELR at this high-profile event which brings together a wide array of eco-celebrities (many of whom drive electric and hybrid vehicles) to raise funds and awareness for environmental issues and to inspire their fans to drive electric cars.

2014 Audi Allroad in Monsoon Gray
In the “Fifty Shades of Grey,” book trilogy written by E L James, the number fifty describes Christian Grey, a man of many moods, talents, personalities, and vehicles (including jets and yachts).
With all the buzz in the media about the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie adaptation, I thought it would be fun to list 25 shades of grays for 25 of my favorite cars. To be sure, most cars do look super sexy in certain shades of silver.

The movie adaptation of “The Host” written by Stephanie Meyer, author of "The Twilight Saga” was released to theatres in March 2013, and is on video now. I watched my fair share of movies on Netflix over Thanksgiving weekend, including this one.

“RUSH” and “Snake and Mongoose” are two upcoming racing
related movies that are definitely worth seeing. It seems Hollywood has finally
shown our sport in a realistic light.
“Days of Thunder” may be one of my all-time favorite movies
but, goodness, its racing scenes lacked a lot of credibility. “Talladega
Nights,” which did make me laugh a few times, did absolutely no justice to our
sport and “Driven”... well, that movie was just way too farfetched for my taste.
So these two movies, which I have had the privilege of
seeing already at advanced screenings, make my racing heart smile. They may not
be 100% accurate but the racing scenes were very believable to me. Both movies
told great stories about athletes facing rivalry, fear, fame, competition, and

“The Wolverine” played on just under 4000 nationwide screens this weekend and pulled in about $55 million — on target with studio estimates, but below some estimates which projected an $80 million opening weekend.
In the film, the character Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is driven by Yukio (Rila Fukushima) in an Audi R8 Spyder. Additional vehicles featured in the 20th Century Fox film include the Audi A8 L and the Ducati Diavel.

Opening in theatres today, the highly anticipated DreamWorks animation

a freak accident infuses him with super-speed, Turbo kicks into overdrive and

For Cadillac’s launch of Style Driven, an initiative blending fashion
and automotive design, they chose Hundred Acres, a sustainable
restaurant in SoHo, New York. The environment: a mellow mix of new age farm-to-table vintage and quiet luxury.
Style Driven, a four-part video series, follows the life of fashion stylist Erin Walsh, with celebrity clients that include: Kristen Wiig, Kerry Washington and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The series follows Walsh as she is ferried around New York City in a Cadillac SRX choosing dresses and accessories for the Costume Institute Benefit at the Met in New York City. This year the theme was punk. But, we’re talking high-voltage high-style punk.

Iron Man 3 broke box office records this weekend, earning
$175.3 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales, $504.8 million in
international receipts, and more than $680.1 million in the days
since its worldwide release.
And as much as we love watching the handsome Tony Stark
(played by Robert Downey Jr.) and gorgeous Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) on
the big screen, the true stars of the movie are the gadgets and toys. Who
wouldn't want to have Stark's money, laboratory, and the armored suits he uses
to fight villains? But here's another thing I wouldn't mind having: Tony Stark's
Audi R8 e-tron, or Pepper Potts' Audi S7 Sportback. Other models with cameos in
the movie are the Audi A8 L, Audi A6, Audi S5 Coupe, and Audi Q5.

Casablanca to Essaouira, Morocco: It was no surprise that
pro navigator and rally driver Chrissie Beavis, 32, of San Diego, was
successful at the arduous and difficult navigation required of competitors in
the Gazelle Rally that brought
her team to an eighth-place finish out of 150 teams from 20 nations. After all,
the multi-talented Beavis has guided many celebrated drivers, such as Rhys
Millen, Tanner Foust, Ramana Lagamann and Seamus Burke to numerous stage and
overall wins, highlighted by a Pikes Peak win in 2005, a United States Rally
Championship win in 2006, and Gold and Silver Medals at the X-Games in 2007 and
2008. Beavis started campaigning her own Performance Stock Class car in 2005 in
the California Rally Series, and has also had class wins as a driver, with
