The Century Council fights Drunk Driving with Alcohol Awareness Infographic
According to The Century Council, 9,878 people died in drunk driving crashes in 2011. Though this is an all-time low, these deaths account for 31% of all traffic fatalities that year.
Sadly, motor vehicle crashes remain the number one killer of teenagers ages 15 to 20 years old, even though drunk driving and underage drinking among teens are at historic lows.
