AskPatty Review: Ladies Keep It Clean with the Dyson DC31 Handheld
James Dyson is a household name these days, famous for his revolutionary designs for vacuums, fans, and now - handhelds. The Dyson team has revolutionized the handheld vacuum industry with the DC31 and DC31 Animal handheld units. Dyson recently sent me one of their DC31 handheld vacuums to review - and it knocked my socks off.

I already own a Dyson Pet Hair vacuum, and I really enjoy it. This year, however, the folks at Dyson sent me their new DC31 handheld to try. What can I say? I'm amazed! I have used it several times to clean my car, my house, and even my garage, andI have to say that I love it. The suction is unbelievable for a handheld, it's a snap to store, and it easily gets into to places a normal vacuum cannot. Lightweight and handy, it's become my go-to vacuum for routine cleanup - I leave the big one in the closet until it's time to do the whole house.
It's a perfect unit for the sofa, office, and car; it's great for RV's, workshops, craft rooms, and the dustbunnies in the basement. Oh, and here's a bonus: it powers over dog hair. This is an absolute must with me - I travel with my white furry dogs in a Black 2009 Subaru Legacy with black cloth interior, and the DC31 keeps my car pristine. Dyson is a lifesaver!
