Over the past years Freedom Automotive of Stafford, Texas, has raised more than $650,000 for Child Advocates making it possible to help more than 635 abused and neglected children. This year their goal is $65,000! The program runs through the month of February and customers can redeem their coupons for your oil changes until the end of the year. On Saturday, February 13th, Jon Lancaster Toyota Scion  of Madison, Wisconsin, invites all parents to bring their children to a DNA LifePrint Child Safety Event  that includes FREE FBI-certified 10-digit biometric fingerprinting, a free high-resolution digital photo of your child, and a FREE home DNA Identification Kit. If a child becomes missing, parents can greatly increase their chance of quickly recovering their child if they immediately provide this information to law enforcement officials.

Congratulations to AutoAid & Rescue  of Van Nuys, California, for receiving another award for outstanding service!. The Super Service Award from Angie's List was recently presented to Jack and David Bulko, owners of the Van Nuys Automotive Repair and Maintenance center.  This exclusive recognition is given annually to fewer than 5% of service companies who have achieved and maintained a superior rating on Angie's List throughout the past year.

Brown Bros. Cadillac Chevrolet of Lousville, Kentucky,   recently hosted a clinic for the local Girl Scouts that allowed them earn their "Car Sense" badge. Girls learned how to change a tire, as well as tips about driver safety, earning their driver's license, and basic car care - they even learned about vehicle purchasing and financing! The leaders included Brown Bros. Staff, a Louisville Police Officer, end Employees from the County Clerk and Circuit Clerk's office. Congratulations to Bianchi Honda  and Porreco Nissan  of Erie, Pennsylvania for their long history of service to the community and involvement with local and national charities!  In 2009, over 71% of the employees at Bianchi Honda gave to the United Way and more than 73% of the employees at  Porreco Nissan donated.  Both locations earned their status as United Way Gold recipients. Recently, owner Lou Porreco and his wife Debbie, auctioned cruises on their private yacht for charity events and raised between $3,000 and $5,000 per charity, at five different events.  The Porrecos provide food and beverages as well, with proceeds going directly to the charities. Additionally, in 1986 Mr. Porreco donated his Estate to Edinboro University to enhance the quality and convenience of educational offerings in the Erie area.  Today, the renowned estate is used by Edinboro University to provide credit and non-credit educational opportunities as well as workforce training and business and social events.

Lone Star Chevrolet of Jersey Village, Texas, was recently honored by Jim Campbell, Chevrolet General Manager, and Kurt McNeil, Chevrolet General Sales Manager, for being among the top 12 chevy dealers nationwide in retail sales volume. Lone Star sold more than 2475 vehicles in 2009, making them number one in Houston, number two in Texas, and the sixth highest dealer nationwide in retail volume! In fact, Lone Star was one of only four dealers in the "Big Dog Dozen"  to increase their sales totals over 2008. Congratulations to the entire team at Lone Star Chevrolet!
