AskPatty.com President and CEO Jody DeVere is serving on a "Women in Automotive" panel at today's "Strategies for Support" seminar, being hosted by Mercedes-Benz. She joins a prestigious group of women participating in the seminar, including Kim Kadlec, Worldwide VP, Global Marketing Group, Johnson & Johnson; Nichole Braggs, Mercedes-Benz Sales Operations Manager; Trudy Hardy, MINI Marketing Manager; Rory Hepner, Mercedes-Benz Manager, Field Operations; and Judith Schumacher, Owner, Schumacher and Gearheart Chevrolet.

As part of the seminar, Mercedes-Benz is also partnering with "Dress for Success,"  a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive and work in life. 

If you would like to donate interview-appropriate women's clothing, shoes, jewelry, and handbags that you no longer wear or use, you can donate these items to Dress for Success to provide professional clothing to low-income women who are trying to enter the workforce.

Please bring your professional clothing or monetary donation to the Strategies for Success conference being held today at Mercedes-Benz USA Star Cafe, One Mercedes Drive Montvale, in New Jersey, on Monday, November 16th, where they will be collected at the door. 

Please bring job-appropriate women's suits, skirts, pants, shoes, jewelry, and handbags that are in good condition.  Attire should be appropriate to wear to work and something you would still feel comfortable wearing to an interview yourself.  The donations must be dry-cleaned and pressed, on hangers, and ready to wear.  All sizes are needed and appreciated!  Dress for Success will also accept monetary donations of $5, $10, $20, or $50 to help support their Career Center and Professional Women's Group.
