NAIAS Inforum Focuses on 'Beyond Green: Unraveling The Sustainability Mystique'
Inforum, Michigan's largest business organization for women, will host the 'Beyond Green: Unraveling the Sustainability Mystique' Inforum NAIAS Auto Show Breakfast on Wednesday, January 16, 2008.
A panel of experts -- including include Charlene Wall, Leader, Strategic Business Development, BASF; Sue Cischke, Senior Vice President, Sustainability, Environment and Safety Engineering, Ford Motor Company; and Catherine Greener, Vice President, Consulting, ACT NOW -- will share with attendees how automotive suppliers can help automakers achieve greater sustainability; why auto companies can't make a rapid change in gearing to go green and what this would do to our economy and environment; and what consumers should look for when buying a "green" vehicle. The event is sponsored by BASF and held in partnership with the Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation. AskPatty's very own President, Jody DeVere, will also be in attendance, as well.
Be one of the first 300 women to register and receive a free ticket to the North American International Auto Show. Tickets for members are $40; nonmember tickets are $50 (Add $10 after January 11, 2008). Corporate sponsors can buy a table of 10 for $400 and receive special recognition as well.
