Warriors In Pink Fight For The Cure

Raceforthecure It’s still October, which means it’s still Breast Cancer Awareness month. Ford certainly hasn’t forgotten this with their Warriors in Pink campaign: Ford and your Ford dealer are recruiting Warriors to help ramp up the fight against breast cancer.

Katherinecrew The recent episode of Ford Bold Moves is all about these great women and this important campaign. Ford’s Warriors were involved in The Race for the Cure and supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation, among other things. One of Ford’s Warriors in Pink is the Australian wonder, race car driver Katherine Legge, who drove the all-pink Warriors race car and get this: Her entire crew wore pink headbands!

WarriorcarIn a recent race, Katherine’s Warriors in Pink car lost control and hit the wall of the track, completely ripping the vehicle to shreds. Don’t fret too much because she is just fine and walked away from the crash and got back into racing only FIVE days later. Go Katherine!

Pink_ribbon_gs_3Ford Bold Moves features exciting events in the automotive community and this spot on their Warriors in Pink is no exception. Check out more at Ford Bold Moves and read all about other people who are fighting for the cure!
